Update March 2010
This update not only brings bugfixes and some new stuff, no there is a big change in all spawners. NLS now has Tools. Tools are a very big change because they have a direct effect to every colecting or harvesting. They can speed up things a lot. For all of you told me that working takes to long, that is a nice update. There is only one little but important restriction it this update. The tools will only work at spawners version 2.2. You can see the version of a spawner in it's name. Next thing is, that a blacksmith will have a lot of work in future, because he is the only one who can use a forge or an anvil to produce tools. The metalore needed for this can be placed on all SIMs with the climatezone Desert or Subpolar.
All girls of the wood now have a good reason to celebrate. After a long time of waiting the first Tabuks were seen. They bring a new kind of meat to your menu and also the horn which is needed to produce some of the tools. Another update affects all fires and spiritlamps. The new ones will only need half the goods. Also there are new "deco" versions of both for roleplay reasons. Those fires and lamps will need the old count of good, but will burn for a complete hour. They will not work as a fire for an oven. |

NLS EasteregghuntEastern is comming and like every year it would be like a sport to search the biggest eastereggs. Some people are looking for those eggs in their own pants, but NLS will be part of the fun this year. At 31th of March we will start the NLS Easteregghunt for at least one week. I want to have as much SIMs as possible to be part of the hunting. That should bring a lot of fun and also new friends to you. Every NLS SIM is invited to be part of the hunt. NLS will sponsor all the prices, so there will be no costs for you. What will be the prices? Sure there are prices to win, but I don't give you a complete list of them. Per example you can find some NLS Money or NLS Products in the eggs. Also there will be some surprises for every NLS user or SIM Owner also. February Update 2010 Februaryupdate is here and it brings some bugfixes and addons with it. There are three new things and of course some new receipts. - Spinning Wheel to spinn Reed to wool
- Loom to make something out of wool. Right now only bandages, more will come
- Bandages here I have to say, that you will now get a compelte packet with all bandages in it. They do not heal your meter wounds, neighter your diseases (not now). So they are only for roleplay.
- Datepalms to get some dates. They are only growing in the desert.
Also there are some bugfixes and improvements within the HUD. It will be delivered from the updateserver and the givers from 15h of February on and have version 2.3 - There is only one universal HUD anymore. You can change your world by clicking the flag.
- All list, per example the storage lists will be loaded from the maindatabase on that selection. So I can change thoses list in future without updating the whole HUD.
- Currency is now displayed by picture of coins, not by simple shortings anymore
- I also fix some bugs within the wallet. It should be a lot faster now
- Also there are some improvements in the HUD to make it faster
Next update will come at 15th of March. I can not tell you what it will include right now, cause I will start to work on it tomorrow. |

Money from NLS1 will not accepted anymore |

Please update your marketstandsWith the next update at 15th of March, the old money from NLS 1 will be invalid. All old wallets and marketstands will not work anymore after that date. After five month, thats the next step. I please you to update all your marketstand to version 2.x. Everyone who can show Nalena or me, that he allready own the personal marketstands, will get the new version from us. All others can buy them from Nalena's or my vendors. The payment will go to Nalena in both cases. The big collection of marketstands which buy and sell endless, will not come to NLS 2. That is planed, because those marketstands pull traiding to nearly zero in the past. Also they were used for cheating a lot. For events or tradingdays, I can come to your SIM and place marketstands known from NLS Showroom in a limited counting. Local Traders allways should be the primary ones and I only place stands for exotic, non local goods.

Here they are, the first AddOnsLike announced, I released the first addons last weekend. New spawners like "Tarsk / Pig" or "Cacaobush" (only Tropes) I send all the SIM owners in the night to friday. So they can start to place them on the SIMs. To make the new things, there are some new receipts. All fusionators version 2.1 will learn these receipts full automatically. Older fusionators have to replaced by the SIM owners. - Cacaopowder

I hope you have a lot of fun with the new things, but please, do not nibble to much ;-) At this time, I want to say sorry for the lot of HUD updates in the last days. I just forgot something in every update so I have to make a new one, my fault. Also there was an error within the update procedure. That couses that all earth users get a wrong HUD. Please make sure, that the name of the HUD includes "Earth" if you are living outside of GOR. For the future I plan one update per month. Next update is planed around 15th of February. With that update I will change some functions within the HUD, so I can go back to one version of the HUD for all of you. For me it is a less work to keep it up to date and it avoid errors like the last days. You can switch the new HUD between the worldsand it will load all lists and values from the main database. Therefore it will be possible in future to give out new things, without updating the HUD. Right now that is necessary to get new things out of the storage. |
