Everything in NLS can get bad or toxic, like in real. NLS knows for every single product four states, that are configured for every product.

1. The product is fresh
2. The product is bad, you may get a indigestion if you eat it.
3. The product is toxic. If you eat it, you will get a food poisining.
4. The product degenerates to dust.

Something you should keep in mind is, that not every product knows all four states. Some products only knows "fresh" and "degenerate to dust". That are product that normally wont get bad or toxic like per example Salt. But every product knows it degeneration time. Those times areincluded, because we wont have to hugh storages. In the past we have some storages within houses which will help all the people over a two year siege.

You will only see the status of a product, if it is toxic. A normal milk you just store too long, will looks a every other milk. But if you eat a green bread, you will get sick.
